Unedged Robinia Timber
Utilization
Playgrounds, Parks, Gardens, Fences, ZOOs, Roofs
It is characteristic of the robinia that the wood block has rustic form and full of bands and knurs. Cutting older and thicker but healthy logs (over 25 cm diameter) to different intersection timber causes serious wastage. Nevertheless the products, which are produced, planed and cut into the required size, are used outside of choice because of their durability and wear-proof features.
Elaboration
The robinia logs are – after a proper selection- cut with loggers, with round saws they are cut into the required size. The bark of the edges and sapwood are cut, the slabs are planed and the edges are polished and broken. They are packed in the required combination.
